About Us

A catalyst for equitable transformation.

At De Mayor Foundation, we aspire to be the catalyst for equitable social transformation across Africa, starting from the grassroots. We envision thriving communities where healthcare is accessible, education is a right (not a luxury), and digital skills are universal.

Our Story

Founded on a simple belief.

De Mayor Foundation began with a small group of volunteers responding to an urgent need in one community, and grew from the conviction that lasting change happens when communities lead their own development, supported by the right partners.

Today, that same principle shapes every programme we run: listen first, build alongside, and measure what actually changes.

Our Belief

We believe that by empowering people with knowledge, health, and technology, we can help unlock human potential, reduce inequalities, and inspire generational progress. Our dream is to leave no community behind: building healthier lives, nurturing brighter minds, and connecting every household to the limitless possibilities of the digital world.

Mission

De Mayor Foundation exists to transform underserved communities through impactful health advocacy, inclusive education support, and the eradication of digital illiteracy.

  • Advancing community healthcare awareness and access.
  • Supporting quality education and lifelong learning opportunities.
  • Bridging the digital divide to equip individuals with skills for a connected world.

Vision

To build empowered, educated, and digitally literate communities where access to healthcare, education, and digital opportunities is a right, not a privilege.

Values

Accountability, partnership, dignity, and measurable impact guide every decision we make.

True giving is not measured by wealth but by willingness. De Mayor Foundation isn't just a nonprofit. It's a movement, a legacy of compassion, built on the shoulders of silent givers who gave not out of abundance but out of love. We exist so that giving never stops.
